Channel Custom Data in Master Product and Channel Product

In PlugoSync, there are two types of product data: Master Product Data and Channel Product Custom Data. If you have a Channel Product, PlugoSync will prioritize the Channel Product Custom Data over the Master Product Data.

How It Works:

Channel Product Custom Data Priority: If a product has custom information set for a specific channel (e.g., marketplace-specific data), PlugoSync will use that data when syncing to the respective marketplace. The Master Product information will be secondary.

Notifications on Custom Data Usage: PlugoSync will notify you when a product is using Channel Product Custom Data. You will be able to see:

• Which channel the custom data is applied to.

  • Shop name using the custom data.

  • Type of data being customized.

Changing Master Product Data: If you try to modify Master Product Data while the 

Channel Product Custom Data is being used, you will receive a warning. This warning informs you of the potential impact on your channel products.
